The ZOO and This is the PLACE monument!
We went to the zoo on Saturday the 27th, and it was such a blast! Kayson loved it. The weather was perfect and it was so much fun. We then went to this is the place monument. It was very fun and I learned so much. So here's some pictures for ya.

Kayson loved the huge ball.

Love giraffs!

Snow Leopard. We bought a new camera and it takes really nice pictures. This one is real good.
I used to be obsessed with Tiger's so I was way excited to go see one, well the tiger wasn't in his cage when we went by. I was very sad, but I did get to ride on this Tiger.

Linx

These were the tiniest monkey's I have ever seen.

He put his face up to the glass right next to this snake! By the way, my dad is terrified of snakes!

So there are awesome monkey's in this cage and all Kayson want's is that tennis ball! He tried to get it, yelled at me to get it for him, tried to step over the step to get it, banged on the glass, and screamed and cried when I took him away. It was so hilarious! He just yelled, "ball, ball!" Funny kid.
Gorilla's are so awesome.

This is to see how you measure up to a Gorilla.

I know my hips almost measure up!!! So sad.

We had to take a picture with the big gorilla.

Of course they had to try to get on his shoulder's. They look like little kids.

It was the funniest thing to watch them both try to get on and off. They were hurting and almost split there pants.

What beautiful animals right?
Whose who?

2 awesome giraffes

He was very tired after the zoo!

Kayson inside a very old tub. Obviously he needed a bath to get the ice cream off his face.

This one makes me laugh! So this is the old store that used to be on Manti's main street. So we had to take a picture in front of it. Kyle said he was tired of standing by us for so many pictures so he stepped clear back and away from us. So I stepped away from my mom so we were spread out. Then Jesse who was taking the picture said scoot together and my mom did this weird little leg thing. It was way funny, but you probably had to be there.

Heber C. Kimbals home had an awesome brick oven.

The Fall
Alright, so Kayson finally mastered the walking at 15 months! It's so crazy cause he could walk since like around one but he was always nervous to let go. So he has had 3 months of perfecting it. 2 nights ago he finally let go and is now a professional. He almost runs! Of course for some weird reason I haven't gotten any pictures of him walking but....I have pictures of the traumatic aftermath of his first big fall. He was cruising around in my mom's living room, fell forward and snagged the corner of the side table with the inside of his upper lip. I picked him up and blood was running down his chin out of his mouth. We ran into the bathroom and my mom got a towel, wet it and held it to his lip as much as he would let her. He wouldn't calm down, just cried and cried. So I walked him outside and of course he stopped crying cause he loves being outside. It kept bleeding for quite some time but not bad. He is doing good, his teeth are still in place and it seems to not bother him a whole lot. He did rip the inside muscle that holds the gums and lip together pretty deep, but all in all he is in good spirits. Surprisingly it hasn't stopped him from walking all over the place.

This picture is after we calmed him down and wiped the blood off, but you can see that it's all over the towel and his shirt. The pictures are in very bad lighting so obviously Jesse took them...Just kidding Jesse, our camera is not the greatest. They don't show how bad it really was, his lip swelled and blood in his mouth for 30 minutes. But you get what you get right!

Here are some pictures finally. They are kind of boring and not very many cause my batteries died. Jesse's family went camping this week so we went up on Wednesday to have dinner. It was fun it rained on us quiet a bit but the dinner was so good. Dutch oven is always so amazing! We had steaks, chicken, corn on the cob, potatoes and peach cobbler. It was pretty fun but all Kayson wanted to do is walk around but it was so muddy. I ended up giving in and letting him walk in it anyways. It was a good time. I like camping for like one day and then I am ready to go home so it was perfect. I will try to remember to take more pictures.

Okay so I know its been more than a month since I posted last. We hardly go anywhere or do anything exciting, and when we do I forget to take my camera. So I hope to get some pictures on here soon. But this is post is for Christine Cox. She is my cousin and Miss Sanpete County. She will be competing for Miss Utah on the 20th. There is an online poll that is on www.missutahpageant.org and you need to go to that site, click on contestants and scroll down to where you can vote for Miss Sanpete County. We all need to vote for her. She has worked so hard and even though it is just an online poll, it will be announced and she will get an award at the pageant. So most of you are related to her too so let's help her out. THANKS!! GO CHRISTINE!!!

St. George, Easter and baseball
I finally found time to put some pictures up. We went to St. George after Easter weekend and had a blast. Hanging by the pool, eating, relaxing, swimming, golfing and just enjoying the sun. We went with Jesse's whole family and had a blast.

We were able to go to the St. George Temple. It is so beautiful.

The boys golfing

We went to the St. George Museum of Wildlife. It was really awesome. They gave you these phone type things and you could listen to a ton of information about all of the animals. Kayson loved looking at the big animals, and liked the big ugly creepy bugs too. We obviously weren't ready for this picture but we only got a couple so I will give what I can. Plus the polar bear is huge!

They are in the middle of a big herd running and aren't even scared.

This picture is fuzzy of us, but the giraffe was my favorite so I had to show ya.

Easter at my mom's

Kayson loves to play basketball with his Uncles. He will literally pass it to them and try and get it from them and shoots it too. It is so cute. He will play for like an hour.

Easter stickers!

A cute folding chair grandma gave him. It's a frog and he loves it!

Kyle's Richfield baseball game. They lost but it was a close one. They didn't play very well that day.

Kayson and I watching the game with one of my hair's flying up.

Grandpa Chad is the Templars pitching coach. He loves it and is really good at it since he pitched for Snow College many moons ago. This is him giving signs to the catcher to tell the pitcher what to throw.

I love this picture. Kayson, Grandpa and Grandma.
