Catching Up!

I know it's been along time since I post, but you all know how it is...crazy busy!! I can't believe the holiday's are over but in a way I am kindof relieved. First Christmas at Candy's On Main is NUTS, so many order's and so many people, with Kori and I running around all over! Being a Mom and a wife during Christmas is a lot more hectic then it is when you're a kid. Cleaning the house everyday so it can look nice, worrying about the gifts if you got enough or what else you need, worrying about the good food that you need to make that takes hours to prepare, working 8 hours a day or more on your feet, making sure you can make it to all the Christmas parties, the parades and Santa. How do we do all this and still stay happy during the holidays? I don't know how we do it, but we do, and we seem to enjoy it at the time. I can say now though, glad it's over.

These pictures are backwards, just be happy I got them on here ok!. So I put all the pictures too close together so now it won't let me write in between them, I guess it has been way too long since I did this last. So going backwards, we had New Years at our house and my family and Jesse's family came and we ate and played lots of games. Kayson was so excited and going crazy because it's not very often that he get's both grandparents at the same time so he was hilarious! Going back and forth from grandma to grandma.

We had Christmas on the 26th at my parents house which was way fun and we all got tons! The first picture with Kayson and I with his fourwheeler and I am on the ground laughing. Well I got my pant leg caught on his wheel and fell right to the ground, it was hilarious! We got both a picture of it and video! But you guys are not going to see that!

Then there are a few pictures of just us three doing christmas from Santa. It was the BEST! We then have a picture of us at Jesse's parents house, which we did christmas eve. Which is always a blast.

The bottom pictures are of Kyle's 18th birthday party, my mom got us all Jazz tickets for the next day but Charle and I knew about it so just the boy's opened them. They were like 13th row so WAY CLOSE! That was some of our holiday craziness! Hope you all had a great christmas!

Halloween with the Nielson's
I know it's been so long since I have posted, my excuse this time is I haven't taken many pictures and I have been sort of busy, and just doing other things. We moved to Manti last week and I am getting our place put together then I will post pictures of it for you all to see. So this was halloween weekend, we carved and Kayson painted pumpkins on Friday at my parents house. Kayson loved painting the pumpkins, he kept reaching over and painting mine and grandma's pumpkin that we were carving. My mom had bought Kayson a caterpillar costume last year, but it was to big, so this year we were going to use it but it was to small, but we were going to cut the feet out and make it work. Then on Halloween morning Kayson and I were watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas the new one and I hadn't done Kayson's hair yet so it was sticking straight up. Then the part on the movie came on when the grinch was a little kid in school. The hair, the big eyes, and the long eyelashes was identical to Kayson! Except for the green and all, but it made me want to dress him up like the kid grinch so badly! So we went to walmart, bought a few things, and put together his outfit with things I had at the house. I planned on painting the face green, eyebrows darker green, the nose and the lines that the grinch has on Kayson, but he flipped out and I only got the green on the face, which he wiped off parts of it, but it still was adorable. I thought he looked just like the kid grinch! It was fun and he loved trick or treating! He had a blast with his cousin Jamie.

My friend Lacey stopped by and we got a picture of her daughter Jayleigh and Kayson. Kayson is not crying, he is just pretending to be the scary Grinch okay! Ha ha yeah right. He was upset cause we just painted his face and he was mad at me.

Fun Activities
We have had quite a fun and adventurous couple of weeks. First we had Jesse's family get together at a really fun park up Springville Canyon. It's called Jolley's Ranch. There is a creek and picnic tables and a fun playground. Kayson had so much fun playing around with his cousin's. Then Jesse, Kayson and I went up Yearns a couple days later and caught 7 fish. We were only there like an hour too! We would throw our line out and hook a fish and do it over and over. It was so fun. It was Kayson's first time fishing and he basically just sat in his little chair and watched us with exciting eye's. I love fishing, I think that I had the most fun. And then yesterday I took the Kirkham kids and Kayson to Palisade Lake. It was great weather and all the kids had lots of fun. Kayson really likes the water too even though it is cold at first. He just sit's in his floaty and kicks his feet up and chills. He also loves playing on the sand/rocks with the tide hitting his bum. We then caught about 30 baby fish and took them home to Kori's pond. I love doing fun things and staying busy.

First time Kayson see's a fish. He didn't think much of it, but would laugh when it would flop around and I would scream.

Happy 4th of July!
We had a way fun 4th of July. Jesse had to work til 6 so we had to have fun without him for a while. The party was at Aunt Kori's house and she has a huge yard so we played baseball and had a water fight (that's why my hair looks bad in these pictures cause they were taken after the water fight.) We had a good dinner and played ping pong. Then did our fireworks, then watched the Manti fireworks. Kayson had a blast with all his cousin's and loved the fireworks. It was a great day!
