Daisypath Anniversary Years Ticker

Friday, October 3, 2008

We finally got Kayson's pictures taken. He was such a big boy and he didn't cry or whine once. He just smiled and played with his football. Of course I think the mommy should get some credit cause she was the one who planned out his napping schedule and forced him to sleep before it. It really went quite smoothly. We had Peterson's Studios do them and he did a really good job. All you family out there will be receiving one in a week or so. Again I had to take a picture of the picture because I don't have a scanner. That's why it's not the greatest. He looks so cute though. Everybody that see's him says, "Wow, you look exactly like your daddy." So funny!

Anniversary and Six month old birthday!
It was mine and Jesse's two year anniversary on September 1. It's been the best two years of my life. For our anniversary we went to dinner and left Kayson with grandma Tammy. We went to Los Amigos which is my favorite. Then we went to the movies, it was so much fun cause we were the only ones in the theater. We joked about how we could make out during the whole movie. But of course we are past that stage of life! It was fun though cause we could talk and tell each other how we felt about parts of the movie and stuff. I love Jesse so much and we have so much fun together. I love every minute that we spend together. I love to talk to him about his interest and I love to share mine with him. He cares so much for Kayson and I and his work ethic is amazing and I couldn't ask for a better husband or father for my son. I love to watch his face when he laughs cause he looks so cute. His eyes are gorgeous and change from blue to green depending on what he is wearing. I love to play games and sports with him. I love to read the scriptures with him and if I have a question about anything I go to him cause he pretty much knows all the answers or he knows where to find them. I am so very blessed.

These pictures are blurry cause I had to take a picture of the actual picture, but it is the best I could do.

This is Kayson on his six month birthday, September 13. Starting on solids. I had fed him some cereal and other things every now and then, but this was the day to officially start him on solids. He likes to eat from a spoon and loves all the baby fruits and veggies except for peaches. I don't know what it is but he will not eat them! They do smell the worst, even worse then prunes and Kayson will eat prunes. It's so much fun. This stage of life is exciting and I love how he is changing. I am still a mom and miss when he was just little and cuddly, but he is changing so much and I love it.
Of course Grandma Tammy bought him that bib.

Twins!

He also holds his own bottle. I still have to help him though cause he will drop it every now and then and I have to give it back to him. I can't wait til he can do it himself though, especially for the night feeding.

The Fair and Car Show

The fair came to Manti this weekend, they have rides, games, rodeos a car show and lots of fun. My mom, Kori, Kenny, and Johnny put they're old cars in the car show. There were tons of really really nice cars in it and then there were some really old cool cars in it. Johnny and Kori both got second place trophy's for there divisions, and my mom got a first place trophy in unfinished car. It was so funny cause when other people won, everybody would just clap, but in our group when we would win something we screamed and cheered and everybody just looked at us. I was going to take pictures of they're cars and trophy's but my camera died after just these couple pictures. But I thought I would tell everyone that they won some pretty nice trophy's. It was fun.

Jamie and Kayson at the fair. It is the cutest picture isn't it? Jamie is such a good helper with Kayson. She can keep him entertained for the longest time. He loves how she is small like him, and he will listen to her while she is talking, I think it's because she has a cute squeeky voice. Also Jordin is on the side of me making Kayson laugh. Jordin has tended Kayson alot and I am just so greatful for them living so close. Kayson loves going over to the Kirkhams.

We call Kayson the blonde Jesse, he looks so much like his dad. Everything but his smile, I think he has my huge smile. He smiles with his whole face. I love it.

Daddy's Boy

These are just some random pictures that I took. I wish we had some cool exciting ones where we are actually doing something fun, but we never go anywhere or do much of anything. I pretty much am still just learning how to be a mom. Plus lack of sleep leaves me with just chillin at home or going to the grandparents. I can't wait for the family outing at Lagoon on the 16th!! I need some fun!!!!

Kayson with dad's hat on, and slobber all over his shirt.
Kayson in his chair. It probably looks very familiar to alot of you.

Thanks to Kori I think probably six of Kaysons cousins have used it too.

He likes to sit up in it. He can push himself, but he usually doesn't know he is doing it.
